i’m just new to this spontaneous honesty thing. usually, when i have something important to say (like the truth about something that has far reaching consequences), i have to schedule a quiet talk with the person, practice what i’m going to say, and generally muster up a lot of nerve for it. or something happens for me to have to blurt the whole truth out in self-defense. sometimes, even then i don’t get to say the whole truth, or it gets buried under a lot of rhetoric or juicy emotions that i can’t keep down (like anger).
but when you just up and decided to open up without being asked and laid the truth out for me to see, it helped me a lot to be more honest to you and explain the reasons behind my seemingly irrational actions. it turned out there really was nothing to be afraid of at all, that you understood all this time. funny how i never gave you the credit to be this reasonable before. i have to apologize for that.
and i’m glad i saw this part of you that i never cared to see after all this time.
thanks for proving me wrong.
